Edward Cuthbert Bairstow served as organist of York Minster from 1913 to his death in 1946. Below, Psalm 72 is sung to one of Bairstow’s many chant settings. The singers are the Choir of York Minster, conducted by Philip Moore. The organist is John Scott Whiteley.
