Anglican chant setting by Jonathan Battishill (1738–1801)
In addition to his career as an organist and composer, Jonathan Battishill was a well-respected tenor soloist. His setting of Psalm 6 is sung in the performance below which was recorded at Evensong at Guildford Cathedral in July 1970 and broadcast live on BBC radio. The Guildford Cathedral Choir is directed by Barry Rose.
